DesignHouse presents its newest showcase, The Golden Age of Hollywood, features nearly 20 stunning installations evocative of iconic films that influenced a universal culture and revolutionized the way of life during this iconic era. The topic reproduces a dialogue between the visionary disciplines of film and design as well as reveals the visual impact that environments have in telling a story.
DesignHouse showcases the most elegant resources of DCOTA Showrooms as seen through the industry’s most talented minds – participating design firms have each chosen a film as a source of design enthusiasm. All resources will be cataloged in the DesignHouse Program and most will be available for orders and purchase, with a percentage benefiting the organizations.
DesignHouse is open for public viewing through July 15, 2011. Additional programming and events will be featured throughout running of the show including screenings, lectures, luncheons, presentations and private tours. DCOTA serves as the distinguished design destination to Florida, the Caribbean, and Central and South America as well to season travelers around the world.
