A collection of fishing packages are available for booking and travel from now through July 31st. They range from two- to seven-night stays, allowing guests to choose one activity per day, including flats and reef fishing and even scuba diving. Package prices begin at $2,369, per person, based on double occupancy, for a three-night/two-day stay.
The property’s founder and former editor of Field & Stream, A.J. McClane, described the destination as “a remote location that is one of the best spots in the Bahamas, if not the world, to catch large fish.” Additionally, the island’s facilities have recently been transformed thanks to a multi-million dollar refurbishment project, allowing guests to relax in a variety of ways.
Deep Water Cay features 36 guest accommodations in a collection of cottages and private homes, fresh local cuisine, private beaches, infinity pool, massage services, gym, water taxi, private airstrip and a customs house. Visitors can either fly into Freeport, Grand Bahama or directly to Deep Water Cay, which has its own 4,000-foot private landing strip.
