This summer, Montage Hotels & Resorts has paired with renowned professionals to bring to life the allure of the season. The Pro Series program offers guests three different ways to play, from surfing in the Pacific Ocean at Montage Laguna Beach and speeding the scenic Utah byways via bike at Montage Deer Valley to shopping the famous Rodeo Drive shops at Montage Beverly Hills.
Advanced and aspiring surfers alike can Surf with a Legend from September 13 – 15, 2013. Montage Laguna Beach has partnered with Hurley to offer guests the chance to ride the waves with surf legend and star of The Endless Summer II, Pat O’Connell, pro surfer and founder of Waves for Water, Jon Rose and world champion Carissa Moore. The experience starts at $1,350 for single occupancy, $1,500 for double occupancy.
Non-surfers can also enjoy Montage Laguna Beach’s picturesque backdrop – the Pacific Ocean – with a series of ocean-side activities. Spa Montage offers a Beach Boot Camp led by a top-notch fitness guru, Thalassic Beach Walk along the soft sand and surf and three different forms of yoga.
Thrill-seeking cyclists can fly down Utah’s famously scenic roads with Montage Deer Valley’s “Bike with a Pro” program. Marcel Vifian, former professional cyclist, leads guests on curated routes like the Mirror Lake Byway and Alpine Loop Road, offering instruction along the way. For $375 per person, the experience offers a three-hour ride, bike rental, helmet, snacks and a water bottle.
Mountain bikers can book the Mountain Memories package, which includes lift tickets to be used for world-class mountain biking on a network of trails that covers over 300 miles. Through Montage Deer Valley’s partnership with mountain biking’s premier brand, BMC, guests can also rent pro-quality equipment on-site and enjoy easy access to single-track rides. Mountain Memories includes luxury accommodations, daily breakfast for two, nightly valet and two Deer Valley Resort lift tickets per day beginning at $310 per night.
After returning from days spent enjoying the crisp mountain air, guests can linger at the fire pit under the starry, forest-ringed sky and enjoy s’mores made with homemade, artisanal marshmallows.
Fashionistas in search of a style fix need look no further than Montage Beverly Hills, located just one block from Rodeo Drive in the heart of Southern California’s most celebrated neighborhood, known worldwide for its luxury retailers. There, on-staff fashion consultant and shopping pro Joseph Katz – who regularly contributes to In Touch, Life & Style, and more – helps guests dress to the nines by bringing a variety of looks from high-end retailers to the privacy of the guestroom. Guests choose one of three package levels ($10,000, $20,000 and $100,000) and Joseph will outfit your guestroom closet with fabulous clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry and accessories.
The urban sanctuary of Spa Montage Beverly Hills is also offering hotel guests the option to soak up the California sun with its new poolside spa treatments. Available through Labor Day weekend, bathing beauties and gents experience a day of pampering by the spa’s stylish rooftop pool, and choose from a menu with a selection of treatments such as sunscreen application, hydrating hand and foot massage, scalp and neck massage, manicure and polish change and the signature Montage Massage.
Pool-goers can also make their experience more intimate by renting a private poolside cabana at the hotel’s rooftop oasis, outfitted with furnishings, an LCD TV and DVD player, complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access, a fully stocked mini-bar and more. The hotel’s full-service staff will provide guests with the ultimate pampering by catering to their every whim.
