When conjuring up images of the world’s finest supercars, Lamborghini is certainly a manufacturer that easily comes to mind. It is therefore with great pride that Luxury & Services Rent has added another of the Italian manufacturer’s exceptional automobiles to its portfolio. The Lamborghini Huracán 610-4 has arrived and been added to the French Riviera based company’s luxury car rental in France options.
The Huracán is seen as a direct replacement for Lamborghini’s best selling model the Gallardo. Unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, it is widely tipped to pick up exactly where the popular Gallardo left off and has drawn immediate comparisons with the Ferrari 458 model. Yet is this really the case? Taking the Huracán out onto the roads should answer some questions on how well the car drives and handles the turns. All the reviews agree that the drive is more refined and more forgiving than its predecessor.
Lamborghini itself admitted that this car is another in the company’s bid to make the Lamborghini more road friendly, saying that this latest model, “combines absolute performance with easy-to-drive road behaviour.” So, despite being named after a Spanish fighting bull, this car is easier to handle than previous generations of Lamborghini.
Moving onto the interior of the car, no detail has been spared, as the Italian manufacturing company hopes to create the ultimate driving experience. Like all low cars, getting in can appear difficult, yet when inside the car actually feels more spacious than it looks. The seats are fully adjustable and have heating for colder weather. The dashboard is the real star of the interior and is fully responsive to the driver’s needs, as is the V10 engine that gives the Huracán its power. Whilst creating a more road-friendly driving experience, Lamborghini has not forgotten that it is traditionally about speed and power; this model has a top speed of over 325 kmph and goes from 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. The acceleration is highly responsive, with just the slightest twitch of the driver’s foot enough to shoot the car forward.
The exterior is equally impressive, with Lamborghini making a slightly less out of this world looking car. Unlike previous models like the Veneno and the Countach, the Huracán even opens with conventional doors. It is also slightly more curved than other Lamborghini models which has led to many commentators suggesting the car is, ‘more feminine’ looking than the Aventador.
It is clear that the new Lamborghini hire model in the Luxury & Services Rent portfolio is another exceptional creation by the Italian manufacturers. To compare it to its nearest rival the Ferrari 458, the Lamborghini wins hands down in terms of speed, but there are other factors that make each model a very enjoyable drive. With a price of around €200,000 you may want to try before you buy, you can contact Luxury & Services Rent to hire this vehicle.
