From Christmas trees decked head-to-toe in Fendi and LuLu Guinness to glamorous Chocolate Markets, Rocco Forte Hotels’ stylish design and attention to detail certainly shines through.

Lulu Guinness at Brown’s Hotel, London: Legendary British accessories fashion designer, Lulu Guinness has partnered with Brown’s Hotel London to design their Christmas tree with additional festive touches throughout the property. The tree has been decorated with the distinctive signature Dali-esque lips that will light up the heart of the hotel. The Lulu Guinness designed tree was unveiled on December 2, 2013. Over this festive period, The Spa at Brown’s Hotel will also be offering a MERRY BERRY manicure and pedicure using Claté products and festive ingredients such as orange, clove, juniper berry and cinnamon. The treatments are available now through February 1, 2014.

The Hogmanay Gala Ball at The Balmoral, Edinburgh: In Scotland, the spotlight has always been on Hogmanay, the famed New Years celebration incorporating iconic bagpipes, drams of whisky and festive parties. Especially this year, as Scotland rings in “The Year of Homecoming,” encouraging those with Scottish heritage (or just an overall love for the destination) to “come home” and celebrate in 2014. Amongst all the festivities taking place, the most sophisticated and glamorous black-tie Hogmanay celebration in Edinburgh can be found at The Balmoral’s Gala Ball. The evening will commence to the sounds of the Pipes and Drums of the Royal Burgh of Stirling, offering a dramatic start to the evening celebrations. Cocktails will be served in the Holyrood Suite where the elegant trio ‘Le Swing’ will perform Rat Pack and Michael Bublé favorites. A grand celebration will follow in the Sir Walter Scott Suite where both dinner and dancing will be served (the world’s top Highland Dancers will perform the famous Sword Dance and Highland Flight, followed by dancing to one of the best ceilidh bands in the country). Guests will be led through a traditional ‘Auld Lang Syne’ through the wee hours of the morning. For more on the Hogmanay Gala Ball at The Balmoral, including rates, please click here.

Glam Galas & Décor at Hotel Astoria, St. Petersburg: St. Petersburg is spectacular in the winter, where the golden domes of baroque palaces sparkle amidst the snow. This season, the glamorous Hotel Astoria will host two festive celebrations: Masquerade and Casanova. Inspired by the Italian heritage of the Forte family, the gala events will be held in the historic Winter Garden and the new Astoria Café, with menus created by Executive Chef Ian Minnis. For those interested in the sweets of the season, enjoy the beautifully decorated Christmas tree or the Chocolate Market, which takes over the lobby of the hotel and includes impressive creations from the hotel’s resident pastry chef.

FENDI Partnership with Hotel de Russie, Rome: Hotel de Russie in Rome is delighted to announce their exclusive partnership with FENDI for the Christmas holiday. The authentically Italian and utterly Roman brand will create enchanting and chic Christmas decorations throughout the hotel and garden. Inspired by FENDI’s latest Bag Buggies concept, the luxury brand will also decorate an impressive 16+ foot Christmas tree on the hotel’s Piazzetta Valadier. On December 1, Hotel de Russie’s FENDI Christmas tree was adorned with the colorful and whimsical plexiglass “Bag Buggies” tying into this year’s campaign that has recently invaded FENDI boutiques worldwide. Hotel de Russie is a luxury five-star hotel located in the heart of Rome between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo on the Via del Babuino. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Rome’s key attractions and fashion houses.
