We all know there is an inescapable connection between a woman and her handbag and Madrid-based designer, Tissa Fontaneda has a particular knack of evoking handbag lust amongst a certain group of ladies. Born of a passion for classical styling paired with modern vision in composition, Tissa Fontaneda has her niche in that group of women which doesn’t shop ‘It’ bagsand which doesn’t want to go to lunch and see their exact handbag on every other woman in the room and, with her smartly structured, £8,500 crocodile bag she perfectly encapsulates her customers’ distinctive aesthetic.Following a successful career in the world of luxury fashion as head accessories designer behind brands such as Loewe, Narciso Rodriguez and Daniel Swarovski, Tissa created her own accessories line in 2005 to cater to lovers of real luxury that blended a jet-set and red-carpet friendly life with mainstream polish. With a particular fondness for evoking the glamour from a bygone era the Tissa Fontaneda Croco Bag offers timeless opulence, with its easy classical shape, nappa-lined interior and Spanish-bound seams it has design confidence without needing flashy hardware and visible logos. All Tissa Fontaneda Croco Bags are made to order using strictly sustainable farmed exotic skins making this extremely rare tote perfectly suited for iconic status and a perfect investment piece which is just as practical as it is stylish and which promises to gain more beauty with age.

This bag is AMAZING!! It also seems reasonably priced compared to other brands out there and at least you know no one else is going to be carrying your bag which in my opinion is worth the price tag!!

Her bags fit perfectly into my life. They are chic, eye catching and yet beautifully wearable for every day….the feel of the leather and the bubbles, one of her signatures, make her gorgeous bags stand out…I’m waiting for the next collection!
