Trinity House, home to the General Lighthouse Authority in London, enjoys delightful views across Trinity House Gardens to the historic Tower of London and is one of London’s most distinguished private event venues.

Located on the gentle slope of Tower Hill and easily accessed by car or the underground, the elegance and airy spaciousness of the House possesses the ambience of a grand private residence and is an impressive setting for social and corporate occasions and memorable civil weddings. Behind the building’s imposing neo-classical façade, designed by Samuel Wyatt in 1794, are five graceful banqueting rooms – The Library, The Court Room, The Pepys Room, Luncheon Room and Reading Room catering for formal banqueting and weddings ranging in capacity from 10 to 130 places. The House’s particularly beautiful Reception Hall, with its sweeping, twin-curved staircase, houses remarkable maritime artefacts that bear testament to the prominent role played by Trinity House in the nation’s maritime history and as the current home of the General Lighthouse Authority.

To promote their venue to couples considering a winter wedding, and in collaboration with one of the House’s preferred caterers, create food and party design, Trinity House as recently introduced an appealing ‘Winter Wonder Wedding’ package for 2014/15 valid from October 2014 – end of March, 2015. Competitively priced at £110 per person plus VAT and exclusive to Trinity House, the ‘Winter Wonder Wedding’ menu created by create offers bridal parties a selection from three delicious dishes per course for a three-course meal and include options such as pan fried scallops (with beetroot mayonnaise, marinated beetroot, heritage beetroot crisps and micro parsley); rare roasted sirloin of british beef (with buttery mash topped scotch pie, wilted spinach, parsley and garlic buttered wild mushrooms, confit parsnip and ale reduction): and blackberry and apple “pop tart” (topped with apple drizzle icing and freeze dried blackberry, toffee apple ice cream, poached blackberries and blackberry syrup).

For the duration of the Winter Wonder Wedding package, Trinity House is extending a special rental hire rate of £4,800 (Saturdays) and £5,900 (Sundays) reduced from £5,200 and £6,500 respectively. In addition, to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the granting of the Royal Charter to the Corporation of Trinity House, all wedding clients will receive a gift of 500 rose petals, courtesy of the Fresh Flower Company, and a bottle of Pol Roger champagne.
